Stadler partners with Nomad Digital to deliver WiFi for NSB passengers in Norway

Working in partnership with Stadler, connectivity solutions provider Nomad Digital has delivered passenger WiFi on 82 Flirt trains for Norwegian train operator NSB.

The deployment marks the largest WiFi rollout on a single new train fleet and enhanced NSB’s commitment to improve the overall passenger experience.

The installed WiFi solution allows passengers to keep up-to-date with their busy work schedule by exchanging emails and downloading files as well as providing the opportunity for accessing entertainment, media and social networks.  In addition to WiFi, Nomad’s technology platform enables the integration of additional operational applications, providing a scalable, future-proofed solution to NSB. Nomad has also designed its next-generation passenger WiFi solution for an additional 26 trains.
